Dramatization as an Effective Method for Developing Reading Competence in Literature Lessons: The Experience of Russian Schools

This article highlights the importance of activity-based methods for teaching literature. It describes the experience of effectively using the dramatization method in the 6th grade while studying A.N. Ostrovsky's play "The Snow Maiden" (1873). The research results demonstrate that dramatization promotes a deeper understanding of the text and the development of soft skills in early adolescents
